Can anyone recommend good suppliers in the states to deal with. I know its been mentioned elswhere but cannot seem to find it. I recall Mom&Pop getting a mention, but when I cantacted them re a Kuryakyn Mustache Bar they wanted over $500 US for 2 delivered, but found it on Amazon.com at other suppliers for around $450 AUS delivered for 2. MCAS in Sydney wanted about $340 each plus delivery.

Always used J&P Cycles, they have a web site and online ordering, very reliable no issues ever. Keep it under $1000 and you`ll pay no import tax.

I always at least have a look at the dealers on ebay.com and often buy from those with a good sales record. Never been dudded yet. For all HD stuff, ChicagoHD.com are excellent, 20% off list US price. Keep it just under the grand as mentioned and you won't get GST'd. Even if you did you'd be miles ahead! $450 for 2 sets of bars is a bloody bargain!

    Mom & Pop are www.mandmcycles.com/

I used them a couple of times when the Aussie dollar was up there. Had no dramas with them.

Just been ordering heaps off Harley stuff fron US from both Chicago Harley & MM cycles. Have to say that both are very good to deal with but MM cycles are cheaper.

Hi guys. Recently bought a fair amount of gear from USA. After trying various sites, I found that for good prices, professionalism & help, Zanottis take a bit of beating. However, Chicago Harley had the best prices on SE Slipons....but delivery took a little longer. Recently bought a Sundowner deep Bucket seat, along with rear mounts & pegs, from Zanottis....delivery door to door 4 days. (Usually week to 8 days depending on items). It pays to look at all the existing sites as some are cheaper than others, but sometimes, for the sake of a couple of dollars, will stick to the company with the good service & delivery. You will save P-L-E-N-T-Y over the Aust. "Stealer" prices. Go for it while the dollar is good.

Magnum Motorcycles on the Gong are good local supplier for genuine HD bling bits at better than dealer prices. My braided lines come from them saving quite a few pennies. I'll let you know what GWorks Cycles in Geelong, are like, when I get off my arse and when the Green Machine (Army) sorts my pay issues out, so I can order some bars for those braided lines to attach to.

As for OS shops Chicago HD was pretty good, especially when the Aussie dollar was fly'n ealier this year......

    I agree with you Walka.

I would rather buy local if possible even if its a bit more expensive, but dont want to get ripped off. Parts I am looking at are $170 US retail, but rrp in Aus (confirmed by Chrome World, Cassons, and others is $339.95 Aus). $170 US is a tad over $200 Aus, so even allowing for shipping and mark up, over $100 Aus difference per item is a bit much to take. Walka gave me a much better price (even though its not listed on VPW website)
