Steer clear of a mob called Auto Trans or something similar. They are one of the few companies that do the run to or from Darwin. As far as bikes go they pack your bike on a flat steel pallet, no frame work around the bike or cover and it gets shipped on an open car transporter (trailer). End result, if it doesn't get stolen, which has happened, it'll be covered in stone chips and/or rust from being exposed to the elements. Being in the Army and having done my fair share of removal across Australia for the past 15 years, including a few posting to Darwin, Auto Trans always seems to get picked to move our bikes. I spent the extra money for moving and brought a trailer.
