Are we still going via Crow's Nest and Toogoolawah? I would have thought that loop would be more like 2.5 hours.... though it's been a while since I've been that way so could be remembering it all wrong. And I haven't ever done the loop around Lake Perseverence before so have no idea what it adds LOL.

I can't imagine Glenn will get on his bike that early in Winter regardless which direction you're going. He'd be thinking of leaving home at 10:00 would be my guess. But I'll let him know. Better still I'll tell to sign his ass up on the forum.

I'll be thinking of you and wishing I was there too, despite the 'chilly' conditions.

Thinking now of maybe waiting until the new range comes out in September, before I decide on what sort of bike I want,  so might have to get mine back on the road between now and then as it seems tooo far off and I don't want to miss many more.

Have a great day y'all and remember those thermals........

Thanks for that Trev, appreciate the input.

I actually took a Sporty Custom for a test ride a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it.  Didn't think I'd like the forward controls, after being use to mids, but also loved them and the bike was an absolute joy to ride because of all the things you just mentioned - yes well priced too as you say too.

If I can wait (very hard), it will be good to see what the new models have to offer.

    Thanks again.

Sorry to inform ya Trev, balls are still intact and still attached, honest it wasn't that cold.
There is No way it was -16 even at 100kph it was still a mild 7 degrees as far as my spinctal temperature gauge reckoned.
I noticed a lot of Jap bike riders but not many Harleys out for a brekkie ride this morning.

What a top day, hope you are all home safe?????
That really was a great days riding folks, very enjoyable, thanks Rocka.
I enjoyed it, even if some of the B crew weren't brave enough to ride in the cool, something to do with the woosie woosie factor me thinks.
Trace and I headed off to Toowoomba (formaly described as the cold hole by Thruster) we were both quite surprised on the trip when we got Trevs special escort all the fucking way to the Toowoomba range, where we finally had a nice blast up the range only to be greeted by the frigging ice age as we rode over the top into Toowoomba's marvelous Margaret street, then we had to brave the farking antartic conditions at the Cold Day in hell cafe, where we met up with Roger Ramsteed and his 2 lovey Girls ( sorry I forgot your names girls ) and Andrew and Miss Daisy, so we sculled some coffee and went off to see some dams (well one anyway).
Thanks for the great Pics Ms Daisy, great comments.....
Hey Rocker ramster well done bloke!
I was expecting to lose ya pretty quickly, well I did! but impressed that you could finally catch up ahead of the rest of em. good stuff mate.
We need to see ya on a ride with Filthy you will enjoy it.

Great day, great company, excellent scenery, very enjoyable, does Queensland ever have a shit day???? Nah, NEVER.
GREAT one day, PERFECT the next.
