Im guessin theres a hell of a lot of drivers on the site as genrally harleys and trucks go hand in hand, but this is somthing Ive never come across before and because it happend in a 150k strip 3 times I started to get the feeling it was on purpose, went from Mildura over to Berri in SA on the way back come behind a b-double this guy for no reason turkey runs of the road in to the rocks and showers me and my wife in a tonne of rocks and so much dust I lost all site of the road ahead of me, now if this hadnt of been somone without my extensive ridding history they would of been F%#KED, so at this time I was ridding a V-rod so I some small cuts on my face as dose my wife and had to pick out a lump of I dont know what out of my shin!, bit latter I swapped bikes with my co rider and jumped on his heritage wich had a screen, just to make this misses feel a bit safer! and this happend again another 2 times the heritage copped a heap of damage to the screen and a few chips on the gaurd, my co- rider to a few shots but on discussion at the end of the trip we both come to the conclusion that this was on purpose, what the hell???

P.S im not pigion holing all drivers just these smart pricks, I know that a lot of you drive and ride but obvouisley these guys were jap bike lovers, but Fuck Im pissed off!

if you want to pass my truck you go around me , i will NOT move onto the shoulder for anyone , thats fucked , i gess theres some wankers in trucks , cars , and bikes aswell you just had bad luck i comming across 3 truck driving wankers in one day . sorry to hear that shit happend to ya m8 . take care .

Yeh, i think that most truckies know not to pull over to the shoulder, theres probly a few cowboys out there that do it or they dont know what happens when they do yet?

Forgive me for being selfish but I WILL move over - better me shower the other vehicle with stones than they shower me.

Getting hit by stones (from a vehicle in front) tells me I'm too close. It doesn't matter whatever the other vehicle is doing on the road - my safety is paramount.

also the driver may have been haveing a little snooze ........

in my opinion if you are coping rocks at head hight you are to close to the vehicle in front ......

also it is very anoying when you have someone following and they are up ya date .......

more than likely he was moveing to the left to show that it was clear for you to go

If it's night time I will wander in the lane to get the person behind me to go around, nothing worse than Farken headlights in the mirror, really pisses me off!!!
If it happened during the day maybe he was a little sleepy? once or twice could have been reaching for something?
Were you sitting right up his ass??? I know I hate it, because if someone up my ass can't see what's going on in front of me, and if I need to slam breaks on in a hurry then you might die hitting me without enough braking distance, I don't want that on my head forever.
So why after the first time it happened didn't you over take???

Allow me to clarify my statement. If I'm being overtaken I won't move onto the road shoulder but if I'm being passed I will.

Thats wrong. I never did that when i was driving...only to caravans and campervans that wouldn't let me pass for ages. Stay in sight of their mirrors and stay well back, you never know when a tyre is going to blow.

i have never experienced a "deliberate" act .... but i have certainly come across truckes that wander off their lane more than they should , be it laziness , sleepiness , speed , etc ... i just sit waaaay back and wait for a better than excellent opportunity to overtake the dodgy drivers ....

You will notice that profesional drivers like myself, Crasher and others have appropriate names that reflect dedication to.........

But seriously of the 3 trucks that got you I bet 1 was rolling a smoke, 1 was over worked and under slept and the 3rd had a recent run in with some dickhead who tryed to kill myself (and any by standers) on the Hwy or maybe there was 10 bikes parked line to stern down the centre of a truck bay he wanted to use or he couldn't get fuel cause blokes going in to pay instead of pushing the bikes to side first or his best mate coming the other way just mentioned that car that parks out front alot when his not home was there again this morning etc... it all happens.

like I said NOT all drivers, I know some good ones I have seen some good ones, I just got a bad run, the reason for our trip was to check out the roads as we have the crusty demonds guys with us here at the moment and they are riding through from here to Adelaide later on this afternoon for the Adelaide show, they may not be as forgiving, these guys are F$#@n nutz

depends weather the cameras are on or off, some are good some have sirouse issues, spent most of my time with seth, he's like the grandaddy umongst the kids, but still goes hard when required, one of the young lads fell off on the trip today and busted an ankle, drag racing yesterday was off tap but I faild to show after a very, very,very bad hangover!!!, burnouts in O'maliys pub both tuesday and wensday night It was good to see smoking in bars again! glad they are gone workshop has gone back to normal, but there were some pritty good blokes among them and proud to know that all the good riders are actually Aussies

yeah funny they may be nuts ...... but i know truck drivers who are phycotic and dont really give a fuck if a rider has the shits with them ......

and omg shock horror some are even clubbies
