Thought I'd chuck a post up about Google maps, there may be some people out there who don't know abou it.  In a nutshell this resource is fantastic, gives you any map literally anywhere in the world.  A feature that I've been using recently is typing in...Point A to Point B, South Australia, for example:

Adelaide to Mannum, South Australia

It actually gives you the best route to take between those two points, and tells you the distance etc. From there you can alter the route dynamically by draging point A or B to another spot.

Another amazing thing you can do is switch to satellite mode and it will overlay an actuall satellite photo over the map.  I even once zoomed in on my house.

Yeah you're right, I've been using it for months and it is almost 100% right on the best route.

I used it to print maps for some guys that couldnt head off on the run with us over Oz day weekend. They thought I was a genius! It was all google.

 

The zoom in and out is bloody brilliant as well. If you zoom right in it gives you the lot numbers where the houses are.

You can also save maps with pinpoints on them and share them with others.

I use it on my N95 phone
