You have to look alot before bidding, always do your research.

Also always ask if they are willing to send out here and also for shipping costs before bidding on anything.

Some of them want to get more money in the shipping and handling costs to make up for any short fall on selling.

Always work out the exchange rate, make sure you cant get it here for that and get yourself a paypal account.

You may have to trick ebay to be able to bid there as well.

Unless its a inexpensive item only buy from places that you know other people have had good service from before - especially with purchases from overseas. Its real easy for someone overseas to pass off a damaged/dodgy item on the guy he thinks may not bother sending it back and a lot of them will demand you pay postage both ways for returned goods so they lose nothing (in terms of money anyway) by trying to pass off their shit.

    Lakeshore Harley Davidson. http://www.lshd1.com/servlet/StoreFront

Purchased over 1000 parts of these guys and many Super Tuners. Before you do order from the US speak to Scotty he has the TTS if your interested and I'm sure there will be support to go with it.

If you decide to buy from the US (Lakeshore HD) you will get a 20% discount off the US retail price. Saving you heaps.

    Screamin Eagle Super Tuner, 32109-08A - $367.96

    Software, 32111-09 - $19.96

    Cable Kit, 32184-08 - $31.96

Remember when you buy from the US they are a US dealer and will not warrant parts. So no warranty.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks delivery from time of order depending on availability.

I have had a 4 day delivery from the US on several occasions, better than any delivery in AU.

Although shipping can be on the high side depending on size and weight.

    Hope this helps. WC

Gday Retsurht,  What do you suggest would be a good ignition system for my 06 883? I've found  a SE ignition module in the states for US $199+shipping. What do you reckon? Steve

$199 for shipping sounds a bit steep... I am sure u should be able to find much better than that.

I just bought a HD badlander seat for my '89 sportster from Peter Stevens in Ringwood. They told me they had to order it from the states as it wasn't something they carried in stock.

Ordered it on a Saturday morning and they rang me on Tuesday morning to come pick it up.

Paid $341 for it. I thought that was pretty fair.....

I've been buying bits through mandmcycles.com. They've been really good and prompt at sending stuff. Takes about 2 weeks to arrive and their prices are really good.

Only site you need to know is http://bikerbobsstore.com/ . Biker Bob is a genuine H-D after market supplier with prices 20% below catalogue price. Postage is real low (usually about $10 US for bling under 5 pounds - HEAPS cheaper than most on ebay charge). There's no picture's - all you do is go on and enter the H-D part number.

Do these guys ship to AUS? Just had a look on the site and they state they only ship domestically.

Admitedly it's slightly more work (you need to get them to deliver to FedEx or equivalent and then arrange seperate shipping) but it still works out a hell of a lot cheaper AND you get genuine parts.
