Gday forumers, Im thinking bout buying a few things from the states and am wondering what some others experience is of this venture. Also how long does it generally take to reach your door ? STEVE
Was thinkig a SE racetuner for 06 883 and mikuni HSR42 seems much cheaper than here. Not sure where Id buy from yet. Just wondering what others think. Do you know roughly how much shipping is ? Steve
Philthy what do you mean trick ebay?
Lakeshore Harley Davidson. http://www.lshd1.com/servlet/StoreFront
Purchased over 1000 parts of these guys and many Super Tuners. Before you do order from the US speak to Scotty he has the TTS if your interested and I'm sure there will be support to go with it.
If you decide to buy from the US (Lakeshore HD) you will get a 20% discount off the US retail price. Saving you heaps.
Screamin Eagle Super Tuner, 32109-08A - $367.96
Software, 32111-09 - $19.96
Cable Kit, 32184-08 - $31.96
Remember when you buy from the US they are a US dealer and will not warrant parts. So no warranty.
It usually takes 1-2 weeks delivery from time of order depending on availability.
I have had a 4 day delivery from the US on several occasions, better than any delivery in AU.
Although shipping can be on the high side depending on size and weight.
Hope this helps. WC
Gday Retsurht, What do you suggest would be a good ignition system for my 06 883? I've found a SE ignition module in the states for US $199+shipping. What do you reckon? Steve

Look for Joey and let him know I put you onto him, I have dealt with him before, and so have others I know. Always great to deal with, reliable, deals with alot of the Ozbiker mob
I just bought a HD badlander seat for my '89 sportster from Peter Stevens in Ringwood. They told me they had to order it from the states as it wasn't something they carried in stock.
Ordered it on a Saturday morning and they rang me on Tuesday morning to come pick it up.
Paid $341 for it. I thought that was pretty fair.....
Do these guys ship to AUS? Just had a look on the site and they state they only ship domestically.
Admitedly it's slightly more work (you need to get them to deliver to FedEx or equivalent and then arrange seperate shipping) but it still works out a hell of a lot cheaper AND you get genuine parts.
If it's a good Local supplier, try this guy.... very helpful,,, prices are good and he plays with Sportsters
