How often do you folk change brake fluid ?? I've got an 06 model and it hasn't been done yet, I've changed the pads but not the fluid and I'm getting differing opinions about how long to leave it, like do it every 2 years to, forget about it until it changes colour.

2 years suits me.

Righto then, a mechanic told me to change it everytime I put new pads in,either way it's overdue.

lucky it aint a named after a woman you would have to bleed them every month;

Two years max for me also..... but Scotty has a point, very easy to do and cheap also, so I might give it a once a year change from now on.

Is HD DOT4 fluid the way to go or any DOT4 will do?
