TTS Heat Management Kicking In ?

Not sure if my TTS heat management system kicked in or not (yes, I did enable it during the last download to the ECM)..

was sitting for quite some time in standing traffic with outside air temps about 90F.  My '08 TC96 Ultra was getting pretty hot when I suddenly noticed a significant reduction in heat coming from the motor.  I really did not notice any change in idle, sound, or feel...just a lot less heat coming across the back of my thighs.

Was this the TTS heat management system working???  If so, it worked very well.  If not, I'd like to know what happened and be able to repeat as needed.

    Thanks!!!

Pine tree, when mined kicked in I knew about it. Spiked in RPM followed by what seemed like a decline in RPM. It wasn't really a decline, just ran rough making it feel like the RPM was lower. I'm also working out how not to stall it off the line when EITMS kicks in.

Pinetree, you may have experinced Mode 1 of EITMS. I am curios as to what your CLB setting is in the top left hand corner? Map 40, RPM 1000.
I had mode 1 then mode 2. Mode 2 is the part you'll most likely notice as mode 1 just increase your AFR

I had always been put off by H-D's version of EITMS, and had never activated it.  But after a discussion with Doc, I've activated for our soon to happen Summer riding.  His remarks were:

the EITMS takes over the AFR at 288 degrees and makes it 13.5 and as the engine heats up at those long red lights it continues to richen the AFR to 12.5, the EITMS is a good system. If you don't want to run the EITMS then take it out of closed loop.

IMO, the way TTS integrates their EITMS system, it's now posible to keep these TCs cool while stopped at the long red lights and not have to guess with setting the AFR tables via open loop.
