The wider of the two goes on the right hand side as you sit on the bike, mine had a L on it just to confuse things,I asked a few people and they all said that it was the other way around, but I have been running it this way on my FXDC 08 for the last 10k with no probs. So I think this is the right instalation process. Then again maybe Ive been lucky?

There is only about 2 or 3 mm differance between the two and it will go on both ways I tryed it ,but one way the disc just scrapes

and I did back the pads off........

You got me worried now, mine are the opposite to yours? I have done over 10K without a prob. Mine had a small L on one,

could someone tell me is that left sitting on bike or looking at it from the front?

They seem to fit better with the L on the hub side(right side when sitting on bike),

I Know that sounds stupid but we are dealing with americans.

The manual may not say which spacer goes which side but in my 06 Dyna manual I had a close look at the diagram and with the cast wheel it appears the rotor side spacer looks to be wider, with the spoked wheel I could not tell the difference in widths of the two spacers...................just sayin...................

Took mine off again ...one spacer is 18mm wide other is 21mm wide ( not exact ) 21mm is on the disc

side as Mainey88 states.........but my wheel and tyre is not central to the forks ....so I tried again swapping

them ...well the rim and tyre were perfectly central then ,but even with the disc pads backed right off this

time , there was no gap between the disc and the outer disc pad....fuc....so put it back again with the tyre

not in the center.....I think Rodders maybe on the right track with both spacers the same size...........

no markings on either of my spacers.........Wingy...

The top looks fairly good but at the back its out a fair bit ....I didnt notice until I put

on a small chrome extension...its (tyre)only out 3mm so Im not going to worry about

it and its only a real small guard so shit flies off it everwhere......

ps the extension does help keep the motor a bit cleaner.
