Reeeeeeally sorry to hear about your spill Shelley  and hope you're OK.   

Pleased you had a great day (apart from that) and a happy birthday Dave.  Loved the photo's, especially the cake.

 

Just went down and had a look at Shelleys bike.
Nowhere near as bad as last time, but its gunna be a few grand for the inurance company to fork out to fix it.
One bag is cactus, one driving light is cactus, the engine bars cactus, brake master cylinder cactus, windscreen, mirror, mufflers tank bars. etc

Shelley wants everyone to know, she thanks you for all your well wishes and that she is okay!
She has a broken right arm, hole in the same arm stiched up, gravel rash on the same arm, cut in her left hand in the palm stitched up, ligaments torn in the knee, bits of skin off in a few other places but pretty good considering.
Shelley is in good spirits and still cheeky as hell.
She is one tough cookie.

Shelly, Arrgggghhhhhhh! Mate! I'm really glad you are okay. Sexton Hill sucks enough without Dickheads being major dickheads in front of ya. How long are you out for with the busted arm? That just plain sucks!
Well it seems the bike has the same diagnosis as you... still up and running, a little busted up, but time will heal. Take care mate... will be thinking of you.

Just got the quote back for repair of the sporty, holy shit! $9,900 I was thinking maybe 3 grand.
Looks like it may be a right off again at that rate.
Won't know until insurance does the math but Shelley said if its a right off, she won't get another one.
We'll see once she is up and about again I guess.
she got a proper cast on her arm yesterday and it has to come off in two weeks to get the stitches out and to check the wounds on her arm, then she gets a new cast for another 3 weeks.
Her knee is troubling her the most, not sure what has happened to it, but it still pretty swollen.
Shell said it doesen't feel right, she can't handle any weight on it as it collapses, so may be she has done the cruciate ligament Shelley reckons it feels like cartlidege so we are trying to workout which doctor to see next to expediate things a bit.

shelley ... hope u recover soon.... not good to read someone has gone down... rest up .. take care ... and soon u will be on your bike again... belinda xx
