Hello, could somebody help me here? I have a 2004 Fatbody with standard Carby and a after market S&S air cleaner and also with a foam filter. With a 2 into 1 Supertrap exhaust. What jet sizes for high and low, and what else do I need to do as bike stalls, misses when excellerating, bike riders at the back of me can smell fuel. Had bike for 4 months, havnt been happy and it has been looked at a few times. Has anybody had any exsperience with these mufflers?
Thanks for the reply Wozza. My daughter Chloe the bad typer . Mufflers 4" wide at the back with 13 discs. Taken end cap off when I brought it, to make more noise. Is this a " no no"? Should I cut the disc back when I'm changing jets?. Cheers your the man. You advice is also inspirational. P.S "Are you happy with your Supertrap?"
Not sure yet, had no choice
S&S E Series with 28.5 Intermediate jet and 70 main. This will give you a starting point and cost ya $700. A monkey could get you running right from here....... If your prob is fuel???
At least your mate was behing you to smell the fuel.......
Thanks Dave for replying, Thats a great idea with the hole in the end cap.
Thanks Jam for replying, because when you said $700 I got a bit confused.. But the discusstions have been great! We will get to the bottom off this.
Hello Wozza, had local biker around today. Checked out sizes in my Carby. Slow jet was 42 and now changed to 45. Main jet was 200, 13 discs in my muffler. You recommended 180 or 185 local stores don't stock. Is 200 to high?. Put end cap back in muffler, made it quieter. Made a difference with changes. Cheers.
