Is it just Me or does anyone else out in HD land hope that Victory has some success in taking some market share from the Motor Co ! Hopefully it may force HD into getting off there arses and design new suspension ,brakes [yes I know about the brembos on some models] ect.ect . Have a look at one If you get a chance , Rising rate monoshock rear suspension ,Big Brakes ,nice finish, 105 hp out of the box .Yeah Yeah ,I know, Its not a Harley ! do yourself a favour and have a ride on a non HD or jappa thats been built after 1983 [cause thats about were harley's suspension is ] and you will see that engineers can design a decent motorcycle!!  ..........................................................................................now I will just slip on my kevlar vest and wait in the bunker

With any luck if Victory becomes more successful it could force Harley to compete on price which may happen on a cold day in hell.  It could also make Harley Bring the prices of its bike or even at least its parts.

That would be awesome to see but I herd hell just got a new furnace so it'll stay warm down there for a while longer

There are to many people loyal to harley davidson i think because its more than just a bike, its a lifestyle, victory may be as big as hd one day if they keep at it but itl be a long way off yet

No matter what you say , a Harley is the real deal and the rest are imitations , i've had a couple off jap criusers , there good but not the real thing , The new triumph may steal a few buyers but not too many i would think

I think if you want a Harley you will buy one it doesnt matter if its victory, honda, kwaka or any other type of bike you ride harley because you know its the best, anyone who says anything else either cant have one (missus wont let em, no nuts) or cant afford it or dont know how to ride one harley is a life style choice not just a bike the harley community is the best and allways will be. As for improving the bike mine handles fine stops fine and goes great if you want to corner at 180kmh your on the wrong bike.

I see alot of fuckwits on harleys ...... maily with hog patches on there vest's with the i've been everywhere patches .....

 

I think the victorie is a great looking bike and i hope it dose well .............

 

oh and those who are concerned about there bike's value in 3 years why bother selling what 10,000 kmh is fuck all it is just starting to loosen up ....

 

my FL has just clicked over 40,000km and i recon it will be good till i die ....

 

i will get another harley but it will not be a new bike it will be a old basket case that needs some loveing .......

 

and if i got the cash toget another bike it may well be a victorie vtwin go's handles stops and has some real hp ...... harleys are over rated .......

Always wanted a Harley and until a few years ago could not afford one, even second hand.......

As for other makes they live or die by thier reputation and appeal....Thankfully Harley still has both....

My very next choice would be Ducati......same reason, reputation and appeal, love that exhaust note....
