Hi Doug, In case you need a nosecone, I've got one that came off my Evo (changed to a chrome one.) It will fit the Shovel, all you would need to do is exchange the bushings with yours (mine are stuffed). And because it's off the Evo the hole is already large (stock electronic ignition.) If you need to get in touch with me Dave's got my number. Regards, Cris
Thanks cris but i should be o.k. for now, Issue seems to be fixed. the oil passage way seemed more like a return gallery than a supply gallery. I'm just trying to avoid cutting and rejoining the wiring. One thing i did discover is that she's running an andrews cam, Couldn't sight and part Nos though.
Saw this before, the hole had been enlarged and it hit the oil supply on an end oiler pinion shaft. Wouldn`t risk it myself, if pressure builds you may blow out your repair and starve rod bearings, depending on how big the hole is, there are no return galleries in the cam cover. just my 2c
Seriously, w.t.f. was i thinking?
Momentary lapse of reason.........
Next tattoo will be "Doug, don't be so Fucking lazy" across the back of my hand!
Cris, P.M. sent.
Can we call it a superceded shovel part rather than use the E word?
Bugger Ricky Lee, I'd like to be Alice Cooper's Tour Manager.
