I am looking for members in here that are sons, daughters or close relations of Maralinga and Monte Bello Veterans Association members. My father was based in Nowra for a time with the Australian Navy in the fifties also spending time in Paddington.

These vets like others were short changed in the end, especially healthwise after they were used like guinea pigs for the use of a better word.    " ....... listen up lads were just going to let off a little atomic bomb  so put on your glasses and have your back to the radioactive explosion............. "    not to mention blowing the shit out of central Australia. My father has been passed for a few years now and i often think about him when ride.

I am interested in hearing from anyone and maybe get together for a ride, a chat or an interstate visit down the track.

Trying to find a picture of my father with his Indian going way back. Mum would always tell us about the hard as a rock ride getting doubled from Nowra to Sydney in mid to late fifties.
