A motorcycle book I've had since I was about 10. Some interesting Harleys in it. Here are a couple.

I have lot's of books on Harleys and I don't remember seeing these versions. Must go and check.

they were made by the italian company they owned then sold off towards the end of the 70's

cant think of the name off hand they made all the small single scrambles and mid capacity bikes like the toppa and shit like that

Aeronautica Macchi was the name

Theirs a SX175 on ebay at the moment...

just had a quick look at ebay and couldn't find it, must have sold...

Harley also own M.V.Augusta,which happened recently.

Those are some cool bikes. Haven't seen those before.

What most people don't know is that Aermacchi under harley davidson ownership had won world gp titles,  from memory I think it was 69,70 and 73  in 50cc and 250 cc class
