hi i,m don dummett i started this ride in august 08 after my own father had an illness and took his own life i only had 2 months to arrange the ride but what a succes whith a lot of help from everyone we got 163 bikes and raised just over 4,000 dollars which went to the charity called ARAFMI ( association for relatives and friends of the mentally ill ) thay are a non goverment funded charity and mostly made up of vollenteers they tell me that about 1 in 5 people suffer from some sought of mental illness the ride this year starts at the oaks hotel albion park rail right next to mcdonalds arrive around 8 am to register plus bbq and this year we have shirts for sale leave around 915 for ride to greenwell point hotel for lunch then ride back to jamberoo oppisite pub for raffle and small speach at that park it will be a family fun day all day from 10 am they will watch us ride back in about 2 pm its only 20 dollars per bike witch also gets you in to the raffle at the fun day there will be jumping castle face painting clowns mr wippy tempery tattoing silent aution plus heaps more shirts 25 dollars short sleeve and 30 for long sloppy joes u will have to order any one can pre pay for ride or buy shirts now by contacting me on 0402766916 also any more inquiers email me on hiremeexcavations@hotmail.com please don,t hesertate to ask questions ps all bikes welcome big or small hope to see yous there regards doodle .

Unforuntate loss of sister meant I had a bit to do with Beyond Blue a few years back. Although they receive some govt funding, it's doesn't compare to the funding for road deaths which statistically doesn't come near the loss of life that can be attributed to mental illness / depression. 8/8 is the anniversary of her passing, will definately be heading down for it. Well done Doodle for organising!
