I replaced the seal when I had my primary off a couple of months ago. Be careful how you remove the seal. I drilled a hole in it and inserted a self-tapper to pull it out, but managed to score the shaft a bit. I polished up the shaft, used Scotty's silicone technique, and it hasn't leaked yet. Just be careful!
