Great write up and pic's Dud's, see you again soon......
There was some top quality bikes, cars and ute's in the show, fireworks display was great, smash up derby was held in 2 classes, one for 4 cyl cars and one for 6's. Strippers went for shock value, wet t-shirt comp was well attended, burn out comp went for ever with cars and bikes giving it their best, great bands , motor cross riders give it their all for most of the day.
And best of all...........................................the cops stayed away, a credit to the well behaved crowd.
We left Thursday, went via Beaudesert, Lions rd, Kyogal, Casino and had a big night at Grafton, met up with some mates Friday morning and rode to Dungog, got hasseled by the cops at Telegraph Point. One of the boys broke a belt 24k's out of Dungog but all in all a great ride down.
Took a few days to get home due to a few break downs, one was an oil pump on an FXDX and the 2nd one was a puncture on a softail, as the trailer now had 2 bikes on iot we had to fix the puncture, gotta give a huge wrap to Seaside HD at Balina, they were flat out but let us use their equipment to pull the wheel out and fit a new tube, just outstanding service.
Left Dungog Sunday morning, stayed at Coffs and had a blinder at the Hoey Moey, one mate had to stay there an extra day to get over the hang over, left Coffs Monday morning rain all day and got to Tugan and give it away, left Tugan Tuesday morning and it pissed down all the way back to the Sunshine Coast, had a great weekend and an awesome ride, riding in the rain is just part of riding as far as I am concerned there is only 2 types of riding, wet or dry and everything else fits into one of them catagories....., keeps you on your toes.....
Thanks to the Central Coast American Motorcycle Club for another outstanding rally.
