Is there anyone here using a FuelPak available from http://fuelpakfi.com/vhportal.html ?

Any comments good or bad would be appreciated.

Seems these maybe a viable proposition instead of a SERT or Thundermax, but then I don't know all the pros and cons yet.

    Thanks muchly

I recently removed a SERF and installed a Fuelpak in my 07 Streetbob,  what do you want to know?, the biggest difference I found was on decel, it feels a lot different than the SERF, from the site it says that on decel the fuel is cut off to reduce popping, it will take a little getting used to, I still get some popping but only down in the low rpm's, I emailed them and they gave me another setting for mode 23 but I still get a small amount of popping in the very low rpm range, prob have to live with it, otherwise the bike goes very hard, very good acceleration, even when doing around 90 in 6th and open it up it really takes off.

Have a talk with Super Cycles.... they gave me the complete rundown on the difference between the PCIII and the Fuelpack.

Well, the reason that I want to know is, if the fuel pack or other such device can save in dyno cost every time a change is made to intake and exhaust.  As I understand it the ThunderMax will do this and a SERT will not, I am not sure if a FuelPak will or will not.

    Thanks

Hey pigironbob, with the Fuelpak you will never need to Dyno, a Dyno is useless unless you just want to see how much Torque or HP you have, V&H keep all the modes to themselves, but they have all the settings you will ever need if you are just changing the airflow and pipes, a lot of guys in the US use a PCIII as it gives them more flexability when tuning as it can be re-mapped over and over, BUT haveing it Dyno'd is essential to get the best results $$$. The Thundermax  is a self tune full ECU replacement but at  $800US+ is an expensive option. SERT is apparently the best option but again big bikkies and then Dyno more$$$. So mate it depends on how much you want to spend and if you wasnt to stuff around with maps and a laptop ect. As I said I went with the FUELPAK for simplicity as I am not doing anything els to the motor and at  $199 from the US was a value for money option.
