A 44-year-old Tannum Sands man died after his motorcycle collided with a truck on the Bruce Highway six kilometres north of Gin Gin.
The large cruiser-style motorcycle collided with the truck, which was turning into private property from the highway.
Despite the efforts of off-duty paramedics the man died at the scene.
Police said speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
A 47-year-old man from Halifax in north Queensland died when his 250cc motorcycle crashed in Ingham just after 5pm.
The rider and a car collided and he was thrown from the bike into oncoming traffic.
Ambulance officers treated the man at the scene before rushing him to hospital, where he later died.
A 37-year-old Gympie man died on his way to hospital after his motorcycle and a utility collided just outside Gympie in southeast Queensland just before 6.15pm (AEST) yesterday.
