The Fedral Government have commisioned a DROUGHT BREAKER to bring rain to all those areas that missed out on the big wet, says Channel Nine News. He is known as the "new messia" or more commonly as ROADTRAIN (RT). He will be bringing rain all across Australia. There have been reports of ARC building from the far west as he plans to spend a few days there. It is not known if it will be 40 days and 40 nights but people are getting nervous, our source from WA mentioned.

The word is that he has a special substance he puts in his fuel tank. Once the fuel is burnt and the special gasses escape rain will come down in great torrents. When asked for his recipie he stated that just like the colonels secret 11 herbs and spices his will remain a secret.

For those interested you can track his progress on the BOM web site. Just look for the flood warnings.

Good to see RT survived Melbourne Wozz, there is rain forcast here on and off all week going into next weekend. I hope the weather doesn't drain the energy out of RT too much cos hes gonna need it when he mixes it with the speed demons.

I'd say the curse has broken.. well for the time being anyway. Left Perth at sparrows fart yesterday to meet up with BT and then the other speed demons... twas pissing down at the time in Perth. Noit offered some company as far as Sue's Rd.. Poor bugger must have been cold as he had no wet weather kit and it was bucketing when I left home. By the time Noit, BT and I fueled at Bunbury the clouds had all but dissapeared and the sun was out :)

Met a fellow rider at fuel stop in Bunbury who was waiting for another group of riders... small world as she trained with Top Bloke

Noit parted company after we caught up with the rest of the speed demons on Sue's Rd and we headed for Denmark... and our rendezous with RT.

Met up with RT early afternoon in Denmark... checked documentation and with all paperwork suitabley stamped and in order  we headed to the local for lunch

Long story short the weather has been very kind with a mixture of clear skies and sunshine, cloud as well as low overcast weather threatening rain...  lets hope it stays clear for next couple weeks but the forecast says not. Likely showers for the coffee run on Thursday.

BT and I road up to Perth today and with RT spliting at Williams and heading for the coast I left RT at Armadale.

    WELCOME TO PERTH RT

Got a surprise phone call from RT, said he wouldn't be stopping in Adelaide but would be heading to Murray Bridge. Good to hear from him.
