    Hi

hoping someone knows the answer or experienced same issue

I have a 07 Softail efi twin and just installed a NEW hypercharger (kuryakyn not pro r - one with blood grooves)

The butterflies are not moving freely. No signs of interference to allow movement.

When engine off butterflies are in open position (can see filter)

When engine on, butterflies dont quite close.

When excellerate, butterflies do move but about 1/4 turn

a mate has same one and when his bike is on the butterflies vibrate back & forward minimally

and when he excellerates the butterflies open right up then close up completely

    ?

been told I might have a leak in the hose(s)

    or

need to adjust a scew behind the hypercharger

    any help appreciated

    Thanks Scotty

I can please ask did you adjust the screw on the back of the hypercharger at all ?

I saw another hypercharger tuesday night, butterflies were free (vibrating) when idling

mine look stiff. They do open when i excelerate but not like the other guys

    thanks again

    hey Scotty

just an update, I pulled apart hypercharger
noticed shaft that opens butterflies and goes into vacuum
slightly bent (dont think it supposed to be like this)
straightened it a little. Also there is a bolt on this shaft
loosened a little, looks like tension eased up
I know there is also a nut and bolt on outside of hypercharger unit
    on vacuum for adjustment
alot more responsive now after changes but i think the latter adjustment
    will get it finally right
    thanks
