So who would be keen on doing this?
Planning on going own on a Saturday morning to do some scenic roads, Caves rd down to Augusta then over to Pemberton then perhaps camp somewhere down Northcliff.
I will have the wife driving the support vehicle (Hilux Dualcab with roof rack), which can carry loads of swags/tents/beer/women etc - have two fridges an 80L and a 40L to keep beer chilled on the way down.
Then plan on coming back up via Southwest Hwy with some detours on the way back towards Bunbury.
Any suggestions? who's keen?
hay bud its dirtydog I'd be keen but I agrea with the pub. Hay fuel is not bloody cheep so by the time you pay for fuel for the bike and the 4x4 it be cheeper to stay in the pub. less gear less shit to take and less fuss. Steph may come so bring your other half or we can fine some els (female) to take. Let me know. Also whats that web sight you use to down load you pics to.
My ol bones arn't much up for camping.... and at this stage it looks like I may be in a silver bird on 17th

As I mentioned in the NorthSouth thingy the ride in the country North east of Perth is too bloody hot this time of year, my mistake
I agree that a ride to Pemberton Northcliffe or the south coast in general is a much better option, it's Dazzas back yard for christ sakes.
Stayed at the Pemberton pub a couple of months ago and it was very good 100 bucks for a airconed room.
I'l go wherever whenever.

I put the ride in country up as a prompt to get somethng happening, the ride South is much more appealing. Nice riding country too.
Nearer the end of Feb would be good 23/24.
The bibkini wash thing is on the 16th, now who would wanna miss that
23/24 Feb sounds better for me as the 16/17 Feb I will be out of state.
23rd is the Pigs Arse poker run and 24th is the Bon Scott statue show. Make it the 16/17 weekend and I'm in for sure.
The South meets North run is going to be on the 16/17 of Feb. Meet at Dunsborough hotel 10.30 Sat morn. Decide where to from there. Stay at Pemberton/Northcliffe over nite.
