Roka its an easy instal mate. The tank doesnt need to be completely removed from the bike. Just remove the fuel line and the tank mounting bolts. No need to take the cross over line off. Lift the tank from the rear and support with a small block of timber or something that wont scratch the tank. You only need enough room to reach the injectors. The rest is plain sailing.

Well done RR, bloody good job. Thanks for the pictures.

Funny though,  that is exactly the brand of tool kit I thought you would have.

    No seriously, well done.

You realise of course ....thats probably the last time that tool box will get used... Well done RR. The next post we see from him will be to tell us he's been picked up for speeding while testing the new product...

    Well Done RR.

and some great pics of how well the FuelShot fits in the rocker. And you tidily fitted the harness in the preexisting conduit so no worries about any damage to wiring.

Now just get out and bloody well ride the damn thing!!!!!!!

Hey RR, thanks for putting in pics - appreciated.

Did you have a squirt of fuel when disconnecting the fuel line? Apparently its under pressure and can piss everywhere when you undo it.

Also I wanna make sure when you do disconnect the fuel line, that it is just like a air pump for tyres - it pushes/clicks on and off and locks itself from draining.

Cheers for the heads-up in advance guys.

    Hi Maple.
you may get a slight dribble. The fuel line blocks off like a compressed air hose once disconnected. I usually just disconnect it but you can put a rag under it if you like. It is literally just a few drops at most.

    Cheers

Hey RR if'n you're apt to do small jobs on your bike, why don't you buy a Harley Davidson 8 in 1 tool? It is part of the ultra tool kit and is great. It has all the torx and allen key bits you need plus phillips head bits. Really well made and if you need some extra leverage you can just apply a spanner to the flats on the shaft. Dunno how much they are but extremely handy.

The grips are a little trickier than people expect, but make the bikes look so much better when parked.

Ta for the pics again RR, and the advice on the fuel line, sophtayl. I got my SERF hooked-in to the sporty tonight, I was nimble enough to get the connectors on without having to disconnect anything else (guitar playing has its uses). Still took a while. I'll post my experience up in the sporty area. Also whacked on the SE air filter too, which was a charm and lots easier.

Now to get a day to tune her up. Means I'll probably not ride The Red Devil til the weekend and some daylight to dick with the tuning pots.
