Ok boys! let that testosterone out go for it.......................
WHY THE FUCK DO YOU GUYS THINK THERE IS A SET OF FUCK'N SCALES ON THE JUSTICE EMBLEM - your all dicks if you think a biker is right 100% of the time - show maturity and sensability if not go join a reble patch club.
If the biker had not broken the law the scale would have tipped in his favour, there is no 100% right in this case, a less powered bike may have put the biker in a different location at that time - avoiding the accident. The culprit, has lost his licence and any further offence will spend time in jail, we can all pray he does.
No one discredits the loss of life of the unfortunate event and the loss to his family and friends. It is sad but he played a huge part in breaking the law.
(We all take risks and break the law everyday and are we not prepared to accept the reaction to our actions?)
That is not right! poor bastard.
What happened to due care and attention whilst in the control of a motor vehicle.
Fuck they make up the rules as they go along nowadays.
Azure, you were doing okay and on track for a good debate......then you got personal and I do believe that that is against the forum rules and offensive to the rest of us forumers. Think before ya fuckin post.

I cant belive this shit. He should have got more of a sentence than that(if he was a truck driver he would have). They say if you want to kill a person, dont us a gun, use a car!! How true. Sure we have concentration lapses, but we have to live with what happens. As truck drivers, i feel sorry for them because they are driving for a living everyday, up to 10000km per week and 100+ hrs. Sure its not legal but if they want a job to feed the family and put a roof over their family's head they have to do it sometimes. They usually go to goal if they have drugs in their system, or even if they are clean, because the media likes a story to sell and as far as they are concerned, all truckies are bad. The ones that fall asleep behind the wheel dont take drugs....they take drugs because they dont want to fall asleep and kill a family. I am not saying all of them do drugs, but a few do. The transport industry is getting better, but still is not perfect. Getting back to the point the bloke got off too light......glad it wasn't my son he killed.
Rodders, your posting says it most elequently, there are no winners here, only grief I'm sure from all parties and whilst it has been a giggle watching the clash of the Titans, the main theme of the posting, "take all care on the roads on a bike or car" as it can end anytime, and unfortunately does.....This forum is a great place to air feelings and obtain reactions and we all ride with varied experiences.....so be it, the most experienced make mistakes in both cars and bikes, so do novices, the article mentions that Mr McEniry was licensed for 250cc and suggests that he was a P plater and sadly possibly inexperienced (I'm surmising), had I been the driver I would be sleepless for a long time as no doubt his (McEniry's) Lady shall be............time to get back to a few laughs.....Incidently,,,,I had coffee with Azure this morning, (she paid too...).....she is a fun (slightly crazy)Lady....fair-dinkum.....you must have caught her in a PMT mode, HaHa
Yeah I must admit I was a little bit pissed off when I made the comments on the 30th april (above) and I understand that there can sometimes be a very fine line between what is a "deliberate and/or careless" action which causes an accident, and an incident which is just incredibly unfortunate. We all speed from time to time but if you are doing 20km over in a school zone you are an idiot, but 30km an hour over in the middle of a cane field 100km from nowhere isn't dangerous in my book. So I suppose to some degree we all make our own rules and have to live with the consequences, emotionally or legally. But I still think the law has it so wrong in so many ways. We tend to be fined and punished and lectured for trivial things, and then in a lot of cases when stupid deliberate actions cause severe loss to others we get a slap on the wrist. Sometimes it's just too hard to swallow. Anyway, I've got that off my chest now.
