    G'day All,

I've been a member for a few weeks now and have really enjoyed reading a lot of the threads. Thanks!

I'm off to the states for work in a few weeks and I'm after some advice. I want to stick a set of V&H side shots on my stock 2008 FXST. I'm also keen on helping her breathe a little better and intend picking up these parts and a few extras when I'm away.

Can anyone help me regarding the air filter I should consider? I'm also heaps conflicted regarding the ECU upgrade I'll need. I've read lots on this site regarding the TTS, PCIII, fuelpak and SERT. I'm kind of leaning towards the SERT, what do you reckon?

How hard is it to get maps for these ECU kits and what's involved in installing them yourself?

I know it's a pretty broad request but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yours aye,

    Jesse

    Thanks Scotty,

Looks like the TTS is the way to go then.

I noticed the Fuelpak just has a list of codes you load in depending on your configuration, however the reviews on this forum are not good. Does the TTS work in a similar fashion? Do you buy the TTS and download maps suitable to your set up? Does the TTS come with the necessary interface cable? Does it run on any operating system?

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again,

I've been reading the stuff by Doc. Very helpful. So the TTS comes with some standard maps and you can customise these with the V - Tune runs? I've downloaded the V - Tune pdf. Doesn't look to bad.

Can you buy the TTS here or only from the states? Any idea on prices and suppliers? As I've mentioned previously, I'll be in the states in a few weeks so I can pick one up over there if the cost difference is substantial.

Thanks a lot for all the help guys,

Deadly, no need to worry about what it'll look like in my luggage, my return journey will be in one of our finest warships.

Scotty, I'll email John and have a look in the states when I get there and let you know when I get back. Due back late September.
