I was riding it to work this Morning and felt a bit of a Wobble, so I pulled over to have a look and found that my Rear Axle was Loose,  I was lucky there was a Panel shop nearby where I tigthened it up. When I get home tonight I will give it a licking of Loctite.    SO CHECK YOUR NUTS

harley davidson and loctite go together. I luv the stuff.

good point , too late once theyv'e fallen off !!!  tighten the nuts on my ikea funiture often  

No lumps on my bike and checked my axles and pushrod in the bathroom - seem fine too...

Good advice though Walka. I am down to once per fortnight doing a righty-tighty on all the parts. Found three of my footpegs could be turned by hand so re-torqued. Seaeagle lost a shifter peg on a run the other week...

out of curiosity can you put new loctite on old?  If you know what I mean.  I went out and my axle has a retaining pin through the nut

The old Cotter pins used to work a treat

gave mine a good going over last month.... used ultrasound
