During a recent dinner discussion it was rightly pointed out that thousands of bikes of every vintage and style, and led by the various HOG chapters, attended the Ride for the Hills charity ride here in Melbourne to support the bushfire victims.....We raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and received brief coverage from two TV chanels, that I am aware of, and the Age newspaper was also there taking heaps of photo's for Monday's edition... and to the great delight of one of our members.......yet not one word or photo was ever printed.......seems a bit odd....perhaps this is NOT the image the press wish to portray of decent caring people  having fun and supporting a truily just cause........see!! no violence to sell papers..................What do you think?????

is it an urban myth ???that a good news paper was published but went broke because nobody was interested ?

Probably wasnt covered due to the fact there were police in on the ride. And im not talking all on police bikes either. If you think about it, would they wanna be seen riding with everyone when there doing there best to destroy them ? Might wreck there DO GOOD image. When infact there doing nothing but sending the country into Kaos.
