I'd be interested in an overnighter to Stanthorpe... May long weekend would be good. I'm in the US again for end of May and June. After that I'd prefer North... too bloody cold at Stanthorpe on a bike in June-August IMO.

did you ride down to valla beach with the ratbags last year and boy did it piss down i have never ridden in such heavy rain. on the way back you rode with some rockets i was riding behind on a rocket i had no visibility and thought the only way to survive this was to keep up can i tell you i was way out of my comfort  zone you make riding look realy easy this was my first trip on a rocket.anyway the rocket is for sale on ebay and iam going to buy a fatbob its much smaller i guess when my ratbg mates find out i will cop a bit of a ribbing but sa la vie.

Hey Swinks, yes indeed you are correct. That would have been me... I was down there with with my hubby and a couple of mates. Have done a few Ratbags and Rat runs... I love the Trumpys as well. And yes, it was a very wet ride home. Hope you like the Fatbob when you get it. My hubby is also looking at adding a Harley to the garage, though he's thinking about a crossbones.

As for the Mayday weekend... I'm a maybe. I do have a Saturday night appointment... that I'm trying to get out of. The other half will not commit this far out - "it might be good fishing weather", in which case if I do get away for the weekend it'll be just me it would seem.

So when is this for? long weekend in may???? or june?????

Didn't think I could make this ride as had made arrangements to go to the Urban Country Music Festival that weekend, but my county music lovin mate just pulled out,  so you're not going with me, yahhhoooo buckarooooo. .
