Ride safe out there you lot. Have fun. Shelleys operation on her knee was a sucess, so she is hanging out to get home, hopefully later this morning. Shell has a fair bit of pain but she has a self administer system in place. They had to drill a fucking hole right through her knee to put the new ligament through. Also they couldn't save the cartiledge, so I dunno what that means probably not good for long term knee joint health. So I am expecting its not gunna be much fun for her for the next few days. Watch out for dickheads, they are everywhere!
31 years Shelley and I have been together.
Good to see a bit of otpimism Enforcer! Pissing down rain at Kippa-Ring at present.
But the show must go on. See you there.

Thanks to Rob for the hospitality, a great feed bag and good music from the McGraws.
Next time Enforcer should carry some duct tape so the water doesn't run down the hole in his pants and fill his boots up!
Again some good pics, thanks for the 'very close-up' shot Dave!

UPDATE ON THE RIDE (NEWSPAPER ARTICLE)
AS a visual spectacle, it makes quite an impact.
But it is the emotional impact which packs the bigger punch.
More than 2500 motorcyclists braved yesterday's bad weather to send a message - that violence and abuse against children is unacceptable.
The fifth Ride for Daniel may not have been the biggest, numbers wise, but for Bruce and Denise who started the Daniel Morcombe Foundation in honour of their missing teenage son's memory, yesterday's event carried a lot of meaning.
“It is an extraordinary turn out considering the weather,” Bruce said.
“Last year had more people but this year possibly has more meaning. That so many people turned up in these conditions, when they really would have preferred to leave their bikes in a shed, undercover, means so much.
“It shows that these people are here for the spirit of what the ride means, not just for a nice Sunday ride out.”
The weather did cause some problems during the hour long route which riders set out on in groups of 500.
Fire trucks responding to an unrelated three vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Forest Glen caused minor problems for the first group of riders in Nambour after they were forced to take evasive action as the fire trucks moved out of the station.
Dean Morcombe was riding on the back of one of the bikes which was damaged in the resulting melee.
No riders suffered serious injuries.
“It is one of those things which we are going to need to go over in the debrief and see what we can do to stop it from happening again,” Bruce said.
“You can do all this preparation, organise for police riders front and back for each group, plan for all sorts of things and then a fire truck comes out.”
Another rider escaped serious injury when she lost control of her bike on the Bruce Highway at Forest Glen but more incidents occurred during last year's ride.
About 200 volunteers, including people from the SES, Men at Work, Caloundra Tourism, Main Roads and 40 police came together to make the day work.
After Daniel's disappearance, Denise and Bruce vowed to do what they could to stop another family going through their nightmare.
More than $400,000 raised by the foundation has gone towards educating children about personal safety and assisting child victims of crime.
