Hi, anybody know of a place/places around Melbourne, Somone who rebores the older stuff, pans/shovels,,?????

who measures lets you know the size up in pistons you will need ,, who can alloy weld , chips, cracks, breaks,,

general repairs to worn or damaged....

Not the dealers that take your parts to these places & put their mark up on,,

but contact numbers or addresses,

Are their any of these still around???????

i know dandy rebores do bike stuff.....

ill give dandy a call this week, have a chat, they have been around a long time, im in the west its a bit of a hike out that side,
but if they do Hd's ,, & know their stuff, thats all that matters...

Theire's some one around coburgish??Thornburyish?? area who has been jiged up for some years now, to replace shovel/ pan valve seats, guides , most head work, they do cars mostly but are equiped for HD's, but its one of those things were l have to go through someone else, who passes it on to someone else, to get it done, but you couldnt beat the price, Auto pricing,not HD pricing...

o.k. l hadnt forgotten about this !! its just taken a while to find it !!
l havnt posted about all the places l looked at, but this is one ill be going back to when l need things done l cant do myself,
l took 3 sets of barrls for boring pan & shovel, they measure up , let you know wot size is needed, you supply em,(pistons)
It took longer than l would have liked but it could be that l said l wasnt in a hurry for em back,
Anyway picked 2 sets up today, didnt do the third set ,after he explained the issues with them l didnt bother cause theyd been sleeved (poorly) ..its a full on engine rebuild shop with all the equipment, alloy welding, valve guides, seats, bearings, cracks, breaks, anything to do with (cars mainly) but he rides a hog & does do a bit of engine work on them,,appearantly for those who know about the place...a friendly chap, easy to get along with helps as well,,,, pricing !! mayyttt, l wont tell you what it cost, but if you need any thing done it wouldnt hurt to give em a call for a chat,,if you do, try to keep a poker face, & dont faint, when you given the price, its that good!! Their in Tullamarine , Called Engine-pro.....the phone numbers down the shed..but im sure you's can look it up...
