Fitted a WindVest screen today courtesy of Surly who ordered it but got the wrong brackets, he ordered 11/4" but got 1", anyway they fit my standard bars just fine.....Took it out for a blat around the block and they sure work well.....very strange sensation not having to hang on tight at $1.30 with a 20k head wind....

They dont look too impossing either...

I'm gonna cop some flack for sure Hoody.....You know, macho biker etc......This whole thing came about from last years Bike Week at the Gold Coast when Big Joe rode up from Sydney with a WindVest attached, 800 odd K and arrived as fresh as.....I'll use it mainly for extended trips.

hi surly . have you heard how the wind vest goes on a heritage ??? the screen on mine seems to cop a bit of a buffeting at speed so i've taken it off , but i wouldn't mind one for long trips. cheers lucky .
