Went out Yesterday for a Quick ride up to my mums (30 od ks) on the way home thought i would go the long way home. Get stuck at lights, get to the front and take off ,as i was getting into 5th gear silver VE got its lights and whistles on. Pulled over,as i was taking my Helmet off and getting my lic out one of the officers asked what mufflers are on it (my responce) Stock ,no there not noway are they stock i told him thats how i got the bike (hehe) anyway one asked me to take a pannier off, yeah no probs i said,low and behold, they say NOT FOR ROAD USE. As i was going to say something one was handing the other $50 the one that got the 50 said thanks mate thats all, As i was still pickin up my jaw they drove off. I rang the wife and told her what had happened still dumb founded. No fine no checks. Get back on the bike further down the road and they have pulled over rice burners. and going right through em. Just gave em a smile and took off.
It is hard to believe but some of them are actually HUMAN.
Quite a lot of them do love and ride Harleys.

Wuz getting back onto my bike in Freo last night when a plodmobile slowly cruised by.
The Plodette in the passenger seat spied me so I smiled and waved at her...........which she smiled and waved back.............if she's a probationer I'd say she just failed etiquette in dealing with Harley riders, if she's a fullblown plod I reckon she musta had her quota for the night Either that or I'm just too damn good looking for my own good
