    Scotty

Thought I would post here instead of starting another TTS thread.
I have an 08RKC which is DBW, the TTS calibration file listing gives 2 tables, one for 2008 Touring which lists the calibration file TD200-000 and one for 2008-2009 DBW Touring and lists the calibration TD205-000. Any suggestions on which calibration file to use or how I can find out what ECM Software revision the bike has?

    Scotty,

A few questions for you on Vtune.

    1. What techniques are you using to hit the higher RPM, higher throttle points. I am getting very little or no data in these areas despite riding in a fairly spirited manner (with some regard to my license)

    2. What is the reasoning behind blending the cells to the right and down to the last known value? Is it simply a case of it is better to be rich than lean or is there something a little more scientific to it?

    3. Does increasing the framerate make any difference to the number of cells that data is collected on?

    cheers

    Hi Scotty,

The TW205-002 says for HO 103, with A/C, Exhaust, HiComp pistons, 258Cams and head work.
My build is 103, A/C, Exhaust, 211, SE Flat tops and no headwork.
Any real problems starting with this map or do you think the UH205-002 a better choice for an 08FLHRC?

    Thanks

Thanks for that Scotty, I will start with TQ205 and see how it pans out.

BTW I have a recent dyno with this build and the HD dealer gave me the MT6 file. Would it be a good idea to copy the VE tables accross to the TQ205 file to get a head start?

Thanks for that Ozroder, a bit to digest but looks like all good stuff. I was half way through reading all the help files when the new TTS manual was out for download. I guess I will be busy for a while reading the new manual. I will let the forum know how it goes but so far it seems to be managble for some one who does not know alot about tuning motors.

Not into drag racing myself, but if it's your thing go for it.

I would just want a good running engine with optium power and torque for cruising when I set up my bagger with stage 2 103 kit, and 255 cams.

Thanks for all the info boys, keep it coming.

Now back RTFM (Read The Farking Manual!!!)

Thanks for all the great info. Still trying to put it into context with the new manual.
