    Hello to all,

Well the deal is done, i just put deposit on '01 Deuce and still grinning from ear to ear..LOL. The bike has a set of Samson S-171 Short Slasher Pipes and it fairly barks but how will i go getting the RWC with the aftermarket pipes fitted? Has anyone got any tips  to quieten it down and get it through if it's an issue ?

    Cheers Graeme

    Congrats Graeme and welcome.
    Deuce is a great bike.
Depending where ya from I would have thought they supply a RWC when U buy a car of bike.?

Otherwise you can buy aftermarket baffels that fit in end of pipe. Add some fiberglass wrap around them and possibly a restrictor in the baffle as well (eg a steel circlee around the same size as the baffle and tilt on an angle and weld on).

Once passed RWC U can just take the baffle out but will have for latter use if required.

    Cheers for the replies.....

Baffles may well be the way to go, i have an "old mate" who restos brittish bikes and he is quite the wizard with a lathe... might have to come up with some home made baffles to placate Mr RWC man ;)

Thanks again for the rep[ies   Graeme
