Well I'm getting fairly used to wet weather, thanks to our resident SEQ forecaster, so it doesn't worry me much, but the handbrake is getting a bit concerned.

We were going to get away early to try and beat the traffic going up the coast - leave about 6.30 from Redcliffe. It will be a parking lot from about Burpengary I reckon by 8 am.

Anyway, we can always catch up along the way or in Rocky or Yeppoon. Send me a PM with contact number/s and see what happens on the day. Sometimes my planned early starts don't turn out that way.

If all else fails we'll have to have a beer, sorry, chardy, at the Strand.

Laurie were leaving from the coast Wednesday morning about 8.30 am going via Esk, Ban Ban springs, gunna drop in on some outlaws at Gin Gin for a day or so then up to the rally Friday morning get there for the 12 pm registration etc. then after rally Monday morning leave for Longreach etc back for work Thursday.

We could all meet at Caltex at the start of the Bruce Hwy (near Beams Rd, Carseldine) and head from there, unless there are other suggestions? I'm open for any comments.
