Over here in the West we have an exciting personality by the name of Grant Dorrington running the Road Safety Council. Grant was pretty much solely responsible for reducing the local road limit from 60 to 50 a few years back. I haven't seen this reduce road deaths so I'm waiting patiently to see when they put the limit back to 60 where it was doing just fine for years. Grant would also like us to get rid of our cars and motorcikkles and ride pushbikes everywhere. After all this is guaranteed to lower the road toll. His latest plan is to ban radar detectors as in some other states but if only he would just ban speed cameras we wouldn't need to buy radar detectors. The papers said he was leaving the job ages ago but his head still tirns up on a weekly basis. His arguments are almost always completely unreasonable. I could go on and on.........
Anyway,,,,,a mate of mine says that Dorrington rides a Hayabusa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like another urban myth to me!
