Description of ride:	Memorial ride for a firefighter who lost his life on the way to work on his motorcycle.
Date:	19th April
Destination:	Mt Glorious
Route: (incl meeting points/times)	Meet at Annerley fire station, 346 Ipswich Rd, Annerley. 8.30am. Ride Warrego hwy, Bris Valley hwy, Fervale to Mt Glorious.
Who's coming:	Kustomtown, HomerD, Pan n Hils

 

No cost. Just turn up and ride.

**note that this is not a 'Harley' ride. All bikes are welcome.**

We had a pretty big turn up for the ride this year. There had to be round 50 bikes.
We also had the first few k's of the ride under fire service escort.
It was pretty slow going with so many bikes.

HomerD, Steve n Jules, Andrew, a solo Wayne and myself attended.
The ride finished early-ish, round 11am at Mt Glorious. The above mentioned all rode to the Ferny Grove Tavern for a steak lunch.

It was a funny lunch as we learned about Steve's prowess in the kitchen until HomerD conjured up some awful images of Steve in an apron bending over to get scones out of the oven..........

A slow riding day but yet again, another great companionship day.
Seems there may be some more interest in the Woodgate ride..............**cough**-**hack**-HomerD?
