Hey everybody my name is macca, I have just got a new softtail and i am wondering what kind of exhaust system to put on the bike.Ive got a Kuryakyn air cleaner and power commander 111 ecu dyno jet,the system im looking at is the Arlen Ness 2 1/4 Slasher 86+.Can anybody let me know what they think of this, as this is my first harley i want it loud and nasty.Any other tips as in bike care and riding tips you all can help me with would be great.Thanks. If you want it loud & nasty go for short pipes like Python Venom Radius or Shortshots

Log on to the pipe manufactures sites. They usually have their pipes on bikes so you can get some idea what ya looking at.
As mentioned above short pipes give the most noise.

My latest pipe is a 2-into-1 V&H Bigradius. Not real loud but after a nice deep note now rather than straight noise.

I have my beloved 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom for sale and about to take delivery of a 2008 FXSTC Anniversary Softail Custom wooohoooo
I have decided to get the dealer to replace the stock pipes with V&H Big Shot Staggered. All i am tossing up at the moment is whether to stick with the standard aircleaner initially, or to bite the bullet and upgrade it (together with a Power Commander) before delivery.
Any comments or advice out there? and if i do so, i am trying to decide between the Hypercharger, or the SE Heavy Breather. Once again, any recommendations?
