I have recently done a couple of test rides on the new Ultra, the last one including the Minister for Finance. This will probably not be a surprise to you of the Bagger Brigade, but WE fell in love with it.
It handles well for such a beast, supremely comfortable, well equipped and I WANT ONE!!!!
I only found one thing to complain about and that was the heat on my right leg (no such problem with the Widey) Now I have read that by putting a tuner in to change the AFR is the way to go, and that would be done sooner than later anyway, but what about heat wrap under the heat shields? (at least until a good set of pipes is available). i know it is only a problem in heavy traffic but the old girl had her feet up on the crash bars! Not the cool look I was hoping for on the street.
Anyone else had an issue with this or are we getting soft in our old age?
By the way, does anyone know if you can fit a TV screen to the rider's backrest? Hope to do this to disable the intercom....
Now Dave, is that any way to address a future fellow touring rider??
