Hi all,

I've recently bought a HD brawler seat for 08 Street Bob. I can comfortably ride for 1-1.5hr before the "pain in the butt" becomes unbearable.

Can anyone recommend a comfortable single or double seat that's good for at least half a day of riding. (5-6 hours, painfree). The seat must also look good as I am in the process of customising and don't want the seat to detract from the overall appearance.

try the Mustang.... comes in 13.5" or 16.5"     seats are used by Dazza, Andij and me

looks pretty good and we all use the plain fender bib.... the first P/N is Mustang and the second is what I used to order from Zanotti's as they gave a discount on manufactuers price

So you are using 13.5" version?
How comfortable is Mustang? How long could you ride for before your "arse hurts"?
Do you need to have fender bib?

You don't NEED to have bib, just covers spare holes etc, looks a bit more tidy.

I use a H.D. Sundowner Touring seat for long trips, it sits you forward and up a little
but the lower back support and padding means I can ride for 6 hrs straight without issues.

(whereas standard seat I can ride for 2 hours only before suffering from "Numb Ass")

3 days running and 12 hours each day in the saddle ...... sundowner fucking loved it ...... missus liked it but had to get a lambswool cover as her girl bits were getting sore ....

have the 13.5".... only have the bib for looks... contrast against the pewter looks ok

Andij has the 16.5" but is only a small build.... think Dazza has the 13.5"

 

reason the the Mustang was solo... with option to have quick release pillion seat

Just got a quote from Zanottia - US $192 plus $25 for the bib.
Does that sound right to you?
Have you looked at HD sundowner seats prior to getting Mustang?
