BACA 100 Mile Ride … 25 April 2009 This is an International BACA event held annually, on the last Saturday in April, by every BACA Chapter worldwide. The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of the plight of those children who are the victims of child abuse.
The SA Chapter of BACA invite all to attend the event ...
BACA 100 Mile Ride 25 April 2009 Meeting from 10.00am for a 10.30am departure at FUBAR Motorcycles, 52 O’Sullivan Beach Road Lonsdale Destination … Eudunda Hotel $10.00 donation.
The timing of this event is fixed and it is somewhat unfortunate that this year it falls on this day.
I would not expect anyone to allow this to interfere with the ANZAC Day tradition … Lest We Forget
Dawn service at daybreak, BACA ride at 10am.
Easy as, see you there Crash.
Might make it myself
Only one week to go too
2 sleeps to go
You think that's rain, you should of seen it on the run. Great to catch up with all the BACA members again. And a great feed put on by the pub at Eudunda.
You should have come along Bucket, it's the only time your bike would have got a free wash
It's a small sacrafice to pay (getting wet) when you remember that the run is all about the kids that BACA help.
Sooks, had a great day out with some great people. Whats a little bit of water anyway.
Ridden not hidden
its the ssssstutter I got from being so ccccccccold
Ridden not hidden a, let me just try and remember the last poker run
Work, not play
Sorry to all the BACA members that i didnt make the ride.I to piked out because of the rain i feel so ashamed.I hope everyone had a safe ride and got back in one piece.Hopefully i will make the next run.
Was far from a pleasant day for a ride but all that braved it made the best of a bad situation and put the meaning of the event ahead of their own comfort. Many thanks to all who attended, in particular the non BACA members … a big effort Also thanks to the Eudunda Hotel (Top Pub) for making us welcome. This is a biker friendly pub so if you are ever in the area drop in for a cold one … let Dan know that you know about BACA and he will take care of you. They turned on a BBQ lunch and made rooms available to those that wanted to stay and continue the party through the night … and all funds raised from both were donated to BACA
