No great drama here folks. It was a lovely day for a ride & unfortunately, couldn't get away from the farm until 10.00am, so missed out going on ride with Walka & crew going thru H/ville & on to St Andrews. Bummer. Maybe next time.

Anyway, got there about 12.00 noon and two police cars, along with 2 un-marked police bikes (big black space invader type things...definitely NOT harleys, LOL), were pulling over all the bikes they could. (No Cars...just bikes). The good thing was the EPA wasn't present, and the checks consisted of Licenses, Rego's, Vin Nos. & checking of Labels. They were equal opportunity pull-overs, all bikes, not just harleys.

Seemed a little like co-incidence that ONLY BIKES were being pulled over, especially with all the present Press about bikers-bikies etc. They were pleasant enough, but I wonder if they always carry large spray cans of Pepper Spray, or similar, strapped to their legs while conducting CAR checks.

So, did the Forum boys get stopped? They were going thru fairly early so may have missed them!! Ride Safe.

maybe they came lookin for us but were to late as we had lots of noise
Ya missed a top ride was good,food,company the lot

2 Words - Harrassment & Discrimination. I agree there is a motorcycle problem around Healsville there is no denying it, Plenty of wannabe Doohans there and the ones causing the prob are on Jappers not HARLEYS.

I swear they should be called the Fun Police.

A little bit of a grubby move by the Old Bill... I just have a good laugh when a dickhead St Kilda fan, upon ejection at the footy last night, can be taken away by three johnny whoppers, 2 6ft tall men and one short female and basically have them all over the shop at restraining him. He nearly copped a tasering for his trouble - only that the public was cheering it on and that his officers would've felt the zap too did he get away. Would hate to know of what happened when he was out of sight.

But yes, lets check a few guys for pipes and the like - ON GRAND PRIX day. When every muzza is out cranking RPM in their VL's and AU's. And as for noise? You can't hear a Harley across town but you sure can those F1 things. Loss-making piece of Eurotrash crap ('event') that it really is.
