i am picking up a new 09 egs next week and am considering fitting the new v/h monster ovals

can anybody tell me if they sound similar to the  basic slashcuts?

dont really want a quieter muffler , just somthin deep + throaty

i realize that the best way to choose mufflers is to have a listen to someone elses ride but thats a bit hard to do way out here in the bush

             cheers

they sound sweet as , lumpy at idle smooth and deep on rollon and a bit of a bite at full tilt but not offensive to the extent of being mega loud.

Hi guys seeking your views. Want a new Road King - the classic is a little expensive so will just get the standard Road King. What do you think of it? Would you get the 2009 or wait for the 2010? Love the look of the V&H monster ovals - what do they cost? And does one have to do the air cleaner and remapping as well? $ are an issue. What would you recommend? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. Was in this morning at Harley Heaven Adelaide not sure which way to go.

    hey streetbob

i bought the monster ovals ...and the dresser duals 2nd hand off our forum tech ...scotty

i guess if i was to purchase new i would be lookin at mandmcycle  in the states

have purchased a lot of gear off these guys and i think  they are one of the best  and cheapest

i think i may have lost a little torque  with the headers or could be my imagination

nothin to worry about .....  but  if i was to buy again i may look at v+h power duals

                                                                 cheers
