It's finally home, registered and rolling.. it's what I'd call a 3m bike.. super sweet from 3m, up close she's rough around the edges but seeing she's nearly 40 I guess that's ok it leaks oil, has some cracks and rust, runs rough, is slow has horrible brakes.. but damn I love it.
Just fitted some Pangea stream liner bars which Are sweet as hell, went to fit the tiny headlight I bought and lower mount, but as I discovered all of the wiring is jammed into the back of it, maybe another day. There's also a sissy bar to be welded up.
Looks good, but agree , Aircleaner wrong , i think for a bike that age, S&S L series with the old round ( made before tear drop, but same cast style just round  would look the best just hard to find, i have one but don't want to sell.
Happy New Year
Oh I agree, god knows why they fitted that bloody thing, hideous!!
I have this little guy coming, hand cast by chopper Dave, guys a real artist!
Bike looks great, but agree with the air cleaner for your bike. As far as pipes are concened agree that short shots are s????T, mine had them when I got her, now has D&D Bobobcat, what a difference, expensive but worth every dollar. Unfortunately still can't afford the 88inch hammmer kit! Becvoming trailer trash is too expensive, go figure.
Ouch!
Glad you are safe, bike can be repaired through insurance.
5 weeks and the repairer still hasn't even got the quote into the insurance company.. Jesus...
95 883 wide glide front end 2.5" tank lift cable relocation, ignition switch relocation, coil relocation, twin headlights, and you cant see it in this pic but there is small dark green windscreen
Looks like a science experiment going on under the tank
Finally done, it's in the for sale section if you're keen
coil is now attached to the left hand side head mount where the choke cable is attached. Ill take a pic tomorrow and post it.
