    Look's good to me !

What are the forks off ? The Brembo's look the goods! Also was it straight bolt on or did you need to work on Spring & damping?

Bike looks excellent and great to see a completely different build!

What was required to fit the R1 forks other than the springs? I assume that is an R1 wheel, brakes etc

Thanks pil good to know, as i have an old tube frame Buell parts getting hard to get & that is a good brake set up. The old Buell has 100,000k up so motor will be freaxhened up soon along with gearboxe I like to get to the track once in a while too.

That is Good to hear Pil! Cow knows Harley's & how to build & tund them at any level, he can also machine flow test do head work tune carb tune EFI custom map rebuild & tune notro burners, he alwzys has given me what i want. Then i go to the track & it works, i had a twin cam 88 dyna that just had a stock frame, & stock heads stock geaf box stock clutch sto k shift stock wheels 130 90 x16" at rear 19" at front i road it to the track road home just average rider 80kg 11.27 121.5mph in 4th gear as clut h slipped if i use 5th, then before that he built  e an old four speed shovel that can still run 11's quarter mile.

But with the old Buell i'll be a bit slow till i get the feel of it again.

It's actually easy the second time..... Use washing gloves and apply it wet...... The first time I didn't use gloves and itched for days....

Another secret is to spray it with VHT paint in the right colour. It sets under heat and helps keep the tape in place.

Here's my XL1200C. Gave it a clean day before with the new rinse free stuff I picked up from Supercheap during Boxing day sale.

Turtle Wax Rinse Free wash and wax and Meguiar's Quick Wax.

Added around 4 caps of the turtle wax wash to half bucket of water and soaked some micro fibre cloths in it over night. Next morning cleaned each section off with that solution using microfibre cloths. For the paint surface, as soon as I cleaned it with the wash, I used another microfibre cloth with the Quick Wax sprayed on it to wipe the surface dry. Wring the second microfibre cloth thoroughly every time so when I use it to dry another portion, the cloth has no dripping water, just little bit moist. For all the chrome parts, same method to wash and another microfibre cloth to wipe it dry but didn't add Meguiar's wax to it.  Wasn't sure what a hot exhaust would do to wax coating, so didn't take my chance there. I went over every nook and corner, so I'd say a 3-4 beer stubbies job.
