Pil, I've been speaking to the guys at LA cycles. Also talked to APL but his preference was to go another way with the tuning (I already have a powervision and want to keep it)

I'm just looking at 100 or a bit more rwhp. My bike is making 84 at the moment, whilst it's fun I've gotten used to it.

150 would be dead set bonkers haha.

    Riding to Harry's tomorrow night?

Mate just looked again, she is the best looking Harley I have ever seen. Forget all the bikes that win the custom shows, absolutely gorgeous. The pipes, the paint, everything. RS eat your heart out!

There are probably a few who wouldn't agree (but they need their eyes testing in my opinion) and different things for different folks. Pil's is awesome, as I've posted. Brash's can't see for some reason. Yours just flows from front to end, the whole is way more than the parts. She who must be obeyed even agrees, but reckons it should be black, she's wrong the Harley racing orange suits it perfectly. As I said RSD eat your heart out!

    Tricky,

Very nice, especially with the wheels, I am in process of doing similar to an 03 1200s although using a larger tank etc cause that is what I have in shed.
I am staying with the mags for convenience (Probably paint em) and already running adjustables front and back, have a SU carby in shed that may find its way on as well.

Only thing I would change (Very Minor and to riding style) and that's the bars. With mine going for flatter bars that sit me a bit more forward to get my fat carcass (and associated ballast) a bit further forward.

Mate love it , Colour and all.

P.s Maybe would also like to change one major thing................................Its location.........................would look great in my Garage. wink

    Tricky,

I have seen a bit of his stuff and although very nice, with cost, postage and exchange rate it gets a bit exxy.

I have the following stuff in garage already so will use that to keep costs down.

    This Tank

Set Up a bit like this. I am looking at extending the seat a bit for a couple of reasons.
Will give me a two up capability and will negate the need to cut the frame at all. Hopefully will turn out ok.

Currently looks like this and my son is riding it whenever he gets the chance.

Fitted some new bars to my 72. Decided to try some drag bars after 2 years of 14"apes.

Awesome looking bike..... I really like that style and although I went for blacked out, I'm digging the chrome on that..... tool bag is a great touch... well done

    Thanks mate.
Originally I wanted the blacked out look also. I wanted the 21" front wheel so the 72 won out over the 48 as I couldn't be stuffed with a front end change out..
the chrome breaks up all the black. The only part that sucks about it is cleaning it. Which it is due to be done.

Tool bag comes in handy to. Holds some tools and a disc lock and the seat weather proof cover. Plus my wallet and phone when I ride.

Next step is a wider ass end. Was piecing together a 200 but have decided on just swapping the standard tyre out to a 170.

Good call on the 170..... the wider you go the worse they ride... I have a cool mould for a front chin fairing and 21' front tyre if you ever think of changing..... It's on my sporty a couple of pages back...

    Where do you ride..?

Your bike looks good. I like what you have done with it.

I did contemplate the chin fairing but am digging the bag at the moment and actually use it a lot more then I thought I would.
