I posted this up in the Introduction forum but thought I should put a photo up here of my new toy, a 2014 883 SuperLow. Brand new and totally stock for now........although I have to do something about the pipes becuse I keep dragging them through corners.
My XR1200 at Mallala. Slow but fun
Stock headers and custom mid pipe with a Chinese DANMOTO muffler. No risers, stock suspension works reasonably well, street tyres. I run it sometimes in Brackets class which allows bikes off the street. My wife ran her 09 XR last meeting too.
Yeah she would ! I have a pair of risers but have not fitted yet, maybe a steering damper as well.
LOL! Yep...flatter bars will come later.
Been a couple of years since I was on here, had to sell my 48 to buy a car for my band stuff.. Band or bike.. Had to choose the band! Car paid off so I picked up a 72, flake paint.. It's ridiculous but I love it.
Fairly stock, just seat change, mirrors, pipes and mid mounts.. It's nice to be back on a sportster.
Long term I'd like to change the tank and tail to a more 70s style and a smaller air cleaner.. Minor things!
