Reaction time dosnt effect the time you run. The timer starts once you move (break the beam) so you could sit there for 5 minutes with the green light if you like .

I like the colour and the tank speedo.

Where did you get the tank speedo and how did you get it installed?

It sure would have. I actually fitted it on Saturday as a mate dropped my bike. I've got quite a bit on so I won't be able to take my bike out to race for at least 4 weeks. Hoping to crack a 13.5

My 2014 Iron with new V&H short shots (sweet merciful crap it's loud now) and derby/timer cover and flipped mirrors.  Also removed the front fork reflectors after this pic was taken.

Next on my list is a new seat from Lepera (when I can make my mind up with options for stitching, material etc - there's so many things to choose from) and plastidip on the chrome bits on the forks and the headlight surround.  I'd love to do something with the rear indicators/stop lights.  The orange really annoys me, but I'm not sure what I can do given it's a combined unit.  Would love smoked lenses like I have on the front, but not sure it's possible.

Been working on my bike for the last few months, almost there! So far, Vance & Hines Blackout 2-1 Pipe, Custom Shaped and Upholstered 42 Seat, 10.5" Burly Slammer Rear Springs, White Walls Avon Tyres, HD Drag Bar, DIY Chopped Bar Mount & Dummy Lights, Side Mounted Speedo, HD Black Dimple Derby & Inspection Covers, Flipped Mirrors, Diamond Black HD Gas Cap, and a couple other small tweaks here and there. About to get to work on painting my helmet, and doing some custom artwork to be laser etched on the derby cover.

Looks fantastic, Only thing I'd do is piss off the ugly licence plate downlight and replace it with something more streamline and inconspicuous.

    Thanks gents!

Softail - Yeh mate, I know. I've taken it for a few rides and it hasn't been a problem, but I've definitely been lazy on it haha - i'll get her fixed up this weekend when I change the grips over.

Brash - Cheers man. Really happy with the look now. I actually bought the chopped fender light kit a few weeks back, and now I'm right in the middle of trying to figure out how to mount the number plate to it, as you're meant to side mount it with the kit (but i'm not too keen on that). Definitely going to need some sort of custom fabrication. I'll let you know how I go. I know AA Customs did something themselves which looks epic, so it's do-able, just need to get these brain cells working and figure out how ha ha.

Stel - Thanks champ. Yeh it looks like we may be able to soon, not sure if that law is locked in yet or not? Has anyone heard anything about the whole new law that's meant to be in / coming in where the cops only need to read ur number plate to know if the bike is registered or not?

Cheers Bear - Can't wait haha, that's GREAT news!

Brash, gotta be done mate - get yourself a black tank cap too if you haven't already. The stock caps rattle so much it's ridiculous, plus black is the new black ;)

Had the seat done by a guy names Steve in Helensvale. Took my ideas to him and basically stood next to him and guided him on how I wanted it to look the whole way through. Pricey job, but turned out great.

Here is my ride. She's a stock Iron 883 built September 2013 and purchased by me as a X demo in December 2013. I was told by the dealer that it was one of the first 2014 models with all the new add ons. I put the 2 up seat on it to keep my missus happy as she loves to come for a ride with me. Hope to do the pipes and tune later on this year some time and also change the rear height.
