Hi All,

Been following this forum for a long time, finally happy to post a couple of pics following a new exhaust, air filter, seat, springs, blacked out indicators, new speedo bracket, forward controls. Only thing left is a 2" tank lift.

Thinking next to chop the fender (any solutions on plate mounting btw?) maybe tank change and getting new paint. Maybe spoke wheels or new mags.

What seat do you have on there JYE?

It's a Le Pera Bare Bones (had to be very specific for the Iron model).  If I go a chop fender I'm keen on a spring seat. 

Time to post the progress on my 48. Still waiting on by custom Bare Bones in tan leather to come, and will be doing a Legend Air Ride suspension, plus relocating the rego plate directly on to the rear fender.

I know. I'm on the hunt for a replacement. Something...vintage!

Do you know if I have to undo the lower bolt on the rear shock to remove the damn belt cover? There seems to be a bolt on the backside, but my hands are too fat to get in there, and I don't have the right tools. That and I stripped the hell out of the bolt on the shock as the dealer tightened it like crazy. Now I have no clue how to take it off haha.

finally got some whitewalls on today. i think it looks heaps better.

Those white walls looks great mate. How much did those tyres cost and where abouts did you get them from? Or did you have them painted on?

They cost about 220 a tyre and another 120 to fit. Expensive but damn they look good haha

Thanks man. Yeah just stripped and clear coat. Although it's starting to get too much surface rust on it already, and it's only been a month since I've done it. I don't mind a bit, but it's starting to spread fast! Need to find something else.

                                          - can someone point me in the right direction for a leather swingarm bag?
